A Big Price to Pay
This loneliness envelopes me
It's interlaced with my fingers, my hands
And woven though my limbs.
It wraps around my torso until
My ribs are crushing instead of protecting, and breathing is hard to do.
I am, for once, Alone.
Solitude is my constant companion.
To think, society is unreachable; it cannot bother you.
It is a peace of mind to live by one's morals instead of others;
Yet Solitude is the price to pay.
Can Solitude be so bad?
It is just one and the wilderness; away from prying, judging eyes.
Is Solitude so bad?
Yet you crave conversation.
The heat of a second body next to you; walking,
Running, slee
I sit here in my lost corner
Watching travelers go by, one by one, two by two and
Group by group.
I watch them go because they never return to visit my lovely
Lost corner.
I sit here and watch the passer-by as he fiddles with his coat; time is moving and so is he.
To a desired destiny, but not I.
I sit in my lovely lost corner
Watching a weeping widow walk by;
He silky dress wrapped around her feet, trying to go back but nonetheless
Moving forward.
She cries and cries until her heart has healed.
I sit in my forgotten corner and watch the busy people
Pursuing their beloved dreams
And receiving only disappointment in return; deter

Hi there! Thanks again for the watch. Just to let you know I've changed my account. I encountered my favorite artist and I couldn't pronounce my DA name, so I decided I should change it. Here's the link to my new account: [link]
